Volunteering

Would you like to volunteer with a busy professional team at Glenveagh National Park? We can offer a limited number of part time or full time unpaid volunteer positions in our Visitor Services, Nature Education Team and the Castle Gardens. You will gain useful experience working with the public alongside experienced park staff and have the opportunity to learn new skills as well.

 

Student Placements

If you are a student studying a relevant discipline we can put together short or long term placements tailored to your course and interests, subject to availability.

To apply in the first instance, please send a cover letter and current CV to the relevant person below.

 Applicants are also asked to read the National Parks and Widlife Service Volunteer Guidelines.

Please note that at present we cannot offer any transport or accommodation to students or volunteers. Applicants must also be over 18yrs old.
