Park Buses run to & from the Castle Daily
Mid October – 16th March 9.45am – 16.45pm. (excluding Good Friday & Christmas Week)
March 17th – Mid October 9.45am – 17.45pm. (excluding Good Friday & Christmas Week)
During peak times buses will run every 15 minutes and off peak every 30 minutes (weather permitting)
Bus Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor Centre.
A Wheelchair accessible Bus is available at all times in the park, please ask at the Visitor Centre for assistance if required.
Bus Service – Glenveagh National Park
The Walkers Bus for individual walkers will run to the Lough Inshagh Trail in Gartan & The Head of The Glen near Lough Barra every Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays Monday all year around at 10am. (Weather Permitting)
Walking Groups wishing to book a private shuttle service to The head of the Glen / Lough Inshagh are asked to contact the park direct. Where possible we will accommodate your group at a charge of €3 per person. Limited to 24 persons. At least one weeks notice is advised. Subject to availability
Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor Centre.The fare is €2/€3. This service takes walkers from the car park to drop off points at the start of the Lough Inshagh Walk at Gartan (8km). The bus then continues via Glendowan, where walkers are dropped off at the ‘Head of the Glen’ to start the walk back to the Visitor Centre along the Glen (Bridle Path) Walk (8km). Limited Spaces Available.
